Hello! I am Virgil Ionut Deaconu. I am a licensed teacher of both Romanian and English, with over 20 years of academic experience. My career includes 4 years of teaching in an elite, fast-paced international school in Dubai.
International experience

During my time in Dubai, I worked directly alongside colleagues and students from the UAE, UK, the USA, India, Pakistan, the Philippines, and various African and Arab nations. This intense multicultural exposure taught me a vital skill: how to adapt my teaching style to the mindset and thinking structure of each specific nationality. I know exactly where a Romanian speaker struggles, what a foreign student finds confusing, and how to make the transition smooth for everyone.
The story
How this book and method were born:
My journey into teaching Romanian to foreigners didn't start in a university hall; it started at home. When my wife, who is Vietnamese, needed to learn Romanian, I realized standard textbooks were useless. They lacked pragmatism, real-life grammar, interesting situations and humor. So, I built a custom, beautifully illustrated textbook modeled after the famous Oxford textbooks structure. Today, I use this exact method to fast-track language acquisition for corporate expats, foreign citizens, and international families. With me, you go straight to the target.
